I first heard this song (which was just the chorus at that time)sung by a children's chorus at the AOSA convention in 2001. I fell in love with it immediately. I have since used the piece with various choruses under my direction. As I began leading sing-a-longs, I added some verses that I had written and, voila, it became a favorite.
