New Musical Stew Session - December 6, 2008
The Fall session of Musical Stew was a fantastic success! The Winter session is beginning January 7th and 8th and there are Free Trial Classes December 17th and 18th @ 10am.
Classes are held at Terrace Dance Studio.
The 45 minute class uses songs, rhymes, instruments, movement, props and stories to introduce children and their caregivers to basic music concepts, develop motor skills and encourage creativity. Students are also learning social skills as well as bonding with their caregivers, an important part of development.

Maestrosities in China and at home! - September 18, 2007
Well, it looks like we are heading to China! Each step is bringing us closer. I even went and bought a lonely Planet Bst of Shanghai book today, so we better be going.
We will be performing at the Happy Pudong Kim Tom Clown Festival. Then, almost immediately after arriving back home, we will be doing 4 shows at the NY Clown Theater Festival at the Brick Theater in Williamsburg. You can find out more about us at

Films and China - July 27, 2007
I am so excited about my new adventures. I was recently asked to write a song for a short film being submitted to Sundance. It is in the beginning stages, but the director loves the song so far, which is exactly what I wanted to hear. Can't wait to get it recorded and posted on the site.
On another note, the Maestrosities may be playing in Shanghai! We were recently asked to play in a couple of festivals during the month of October, so I'll keep you posted. Don't worry sing-a-long folks, I have a great person to fill in for me if I do go.
Now at Perch Cafe! - June 9, 2007
For the next five Mondays, and maybe a few more in July and August, I will be leading sing-a-longs for little ones at Perch Cafe in Park Slope. For more info, go to my calendar!
Classes in June - May 4, 2007
So, along with my sing-a-longs, I am going to teach some classes as well. In June, I will be teaching a 4 week music and movement class at three different venues. The Play Spot in Downtown Brooklyn, Maggie's Threads in South Slope and Terrace Dance in Windsor Terrace. All three places will have sing-a-longs following the classes.
